Girl time with Avery

We had the opportunity to go to the Children's Museum with some friends. The first stop was this huge area full of sand. At first Avery wanted nothing to do with it, but slowly she warmed up to it and really enjoyed it.

It was so much fun to spend quality time with Avery. She loves to explore and while she may be a little reserved at first, give her a minute and she is digging right in and trying to figure things out. I was happy to see that she didn't mind getting a little dirty or wet. And she took a really, really long nap afterwards...and Mom got her hours in at work.
