Halloween is always a fun evening in our community. There are so many families with children of varying ages in our neighborhood; you end up seeing new-borns dressed up (like Avery in her "I Love Mummy" outfit) all the way to parents taking part in the fun (at least one of the 'Blues Brothers' was seen).
SuperGirl (Madison) started the first local canvasing with some of her neighborhood friends - the Power Rangers and Princess Leia. On the second loop of the area, Master Yoda paid a visit.
Little did SuperGirl and Master Yoda know, but the Ghostbusters were in the neighborhood! Dr. Peter Venkman & Dr. Raymond Stantz showed Master Yoda and SuperGirl their mobile ghost fighting vehicle, Ecto1. The Proton Packs were not powered up though, as there's always fear of the 'streams crossing'. When SuperGirl asked why you couldn't cross the streams, Dr. Stantz simply replied, "it would be incredibly bad."
(As a footnote...this is the real Ecto 1 from the movie 'GhostBusters'. It's owned by a local west-side Clevelander, who visits many of area neighborhoods every Halloween.)

How cool is that?!? Has Madison watched Ghostbusters yet? If not, you will definitely have to show it to her. You are bringing back lots of childhool memories...
That is so very cool. I put halloween pictures up on my blog too. Kiddo had a blast.
