The first storm hit on January 10. We got about 13".
We had some snow, off and on, for the next few weeks...then the January 28 storm hit. For our Arizona friends, this is what a snowstorm looks like (this is taken from our front porch).
We were blessed with 18" of snow overnight and into the next day. After a wonderful morning of snow blowing and shoveling, we decided to take in the sites and sounds of the late afternoon and evening.
Snow is much more fun when you're a kid - particularly when it's up to your waist! Madison and a few of her friends on the street decided to brave the elements, do some sledding, and try to build tunnels in the 2 feet of snow we had on the ground!

That's AWESOME. I miss snow...
These pictures really make me appreciate the 80 degree heat wave that we've been having here in Phoenix. Stay warm!
