This year for Halloween Madison knew she wanted to be Hermione from the Harry Potter Books months beforehand. It made finding a costume easy. We braided her hair and tried to copy one of Hermione's hairstyles from the movies.
Madison and a few of the other neighbor kids have been reading the series, so it was a popular costume this year. We made sure they all got to go trick-or-treating together.
This picture is from the annual school Halloween parade. The kids love this event and so do the parents. It is fun to see how all the kids are dressed up.
This year Avery was a cat. She enjoyed wearing the costume even when we had to layer lots of clothing underneath. It was a very cold Halloween. Avery had fun walking around with Dad collecting candy. Her "trick-or-treat" was so cute.
